Association des Propriétaires du Québec (APQ)

Last week I paid 200CAD to join the Quebec landlords Association because my tenant does not pay the rent. I sent an email and make phone calls for the legal assistance, the lady who took my phone said they will come back in 24 hours. However, until now I have not got any feedback after one week. I am not sure how it works in the Quebec Landlords Association.updated: After I called APQ again, they called me back, and gave some legal advice.

Let the tenants know that you are a member, and have rapid access to information . This helps them to think twice.

The APQ (Landlords' association) has been a critical resource for me as the owner of a duplex.Not having a huge number of apartments, services such as, credit and background checks, prepared letters to tenants, and knowledgeable and helpful people to answer questions has been vital.Newsletters constantly update on changes to applicable laws relevant, synopses of recent court results.When dealing with non compliant tenants, the ability to receive guidance from legal professionals is currently helping me through the maze that is the TAL.Membership in this organization is a must if you are going to rent residential apartments.

I am was in court with their advocate Jean Olivier Reed Reed....waste of money and time. It is the worst advocate that i see it in my life. Never do bussines with APQ they are the best theft that could be. Seems to be like a slave in front Rent Board (regie) to not upset the judge. They charged expenses like preparation of file and in cour the advocate comes with bare hands!. And their premises smeel like hell, chaep owner,, only to take out money from your pocket and that all.

The APQ provided important information and help towards resolving a difficult issue with my rental unit. A valuable resource for landlords in Quebec.

I am a new member of APQ and I just registered last week. I am happy that I did a great decision. I received layer call just a few hours after I become the member. The service is super good! Until now, I give the service 5 stars. If I could give more, I would give more. As a landlord, I suffered a lot. Now I am a member of APQ. I believe the peaceful life will come back soon.I appreciate APQ and layer's service very much!
